I bought these iron-on patches to attach to the inside leg of a new pair of jeans that arrived with a small defect. I cut out a piece with rounded corners exactly as instructed and ironed exactly as instructed, including using an intermediate fabric instead of ironing directly onto the patch. The patch proved reliable even when tested with a light touch. pull over the edge. I then wore the jeans a few times and washed them in the washing machine with cold water on the standard cycle. When they came out of the dryer, to my disappointment, about 1/3 of the patch had come off. I've used a different iron-on iron over the years and have never had to redo a patch, let alone after a single wear. and laundry. I do not recommend this product.
