I first bought this for my ragdoll cat. She won't touch him. It's not the product's fault, she won't even eat canned food, cat treats or fresh meat. She only eats her own piece. Yes, she is weird. I ended up giving it to our barn cat and dogs. I'm so glad I did. Our house cat was matt black and shed frequently. This type of hair loss when you have to shake your hair out of your hand after each styling. POOH! No longer. Just a little of this in his canned food each day and his coat becomes luxurious - shiny, smooth, soft and thick, and shedding has been drastically reduced. The dream coat is right. I give it to our labs in the winter when it's very dry and it really helps the skin and coat. I would give it year round like a cat but as these are large dogs getting the right dosage gets expensive. The cat gets 1 teaspoon, the dogs three, so the bottle lasts for almost 14 days - expensive. If this cat is alone, the bottle lasts for 3 months. The only downsides to this product are the cost, especially if you have a lot of animals and the bottle itself. I can't get the bottle not to drip after pouring. It's always a mess. It would be nice if you could buy this in bulk at a reduced price and if the product came in a dispenser bottle. If they gave a teaspoon per pump it would be ideal.
