I usually expect Microsoft hardware to be boring and mediocre in terms of features, but this mouse has a lot more utility than I expected. I bought about three because I'm a hard drive and regretted the purchase because of the windows button that replaced the thumb button on the mouse. I used to hate the Windows key on my keyboard because I accidentally pressed it and couldn't find a use for it. I felt the same way with this mouse, I didn't know it had one, mostly because it's easier for me to click that Windows button on the taskbar than that thumb button. But then I discovered something amazing. First the mouse is programmed with the MS application. Second and foremost, it's a touch button! The first I've ever seen! You can not only press the button for Windows key effect, but also swipe up and down to perform other actions. Since I found this, I've been programming it for each application individually. The scroll function sold me home and I can't believe I'm saying this, I look forward to more innovative hardware from Microsoft.
