These reels were packed very well in a ziplock bag. The clips hold up well too. The curlers hold up VERY well, but are a bit difficult to untie. I had to slowly pull my hair and wrap it around my finger to hold the curls, which worked quite well. My hair is thin and thin, it has held up well. Update: It's been a few months and I've used them a few times. Although the concept seems great, they really pull and my fine hair breaks. I've had the best results with hot rollers. So I'm reducing my stars from 4 to 2.
