I ordered these cords for a simple use to power a lamp for which they were perfect. Since they came bundled I used another 6" USB 3 data transfer just to see and it worked great with no drop in speed when plugged directly into the port (no technical test but a quality fast drive , see other Crystal Diskmark reviews). They appear to be very well built as I only needed one and a well cut cord will come in handy for other projects - I will try to donate one and take it apart to update this photo review and a more detailed review to perform when I get to him, but I don't expect to be impressed by what I've seen so far.
