This is my second Targus bag and I love this backpack. It's perfect for all my school supplies. As a double degree, the space in this bag has often proven to be practical. There are many ways to store things and overall I love the style of the bag itself. However, I am a bit disappointed with the way the bag carries the weight and shifts a bit uncomfortably over the shoulders. But it can be decided by my side. What seems particularly disappointing is that my first bag had to be thrown away after just a year of use and I'm afraid my second bag will look the same. I wouldn't say it was due to a lot of stress on my part (although that might be a good factor). However, on my first bag, the seam where the main compartment zipper and bag actually meet came undone, leaving large open areas for things to fall out. (I could put my whole hand in the bag without even opening it!) Now, after only 6 weeks of use (and not stressful in any way), my second bag ripped in the same spot. I'm glad I caught him when I did, hoping I could fix him before he got out of control. However, keep in mind that this backpack cannot withstand heavy loads in the zipped area of the main compartment. Also very unfortunate. Otherwise this would be a great bag! Update -- After just a few weeks at school, the stitches completely unraveled. I am very upset about this. I think I won't be ordering another Targus backpack for a while. I had high hopes that it was just a broken bag, but it turned out to be simply the zipper that broke. I am very disappointed as I had high hopes for this bag. I really wish this bag was of better quality because for the space you get this bag is great! :(
