Review on True Position Tools - Universal Hard Carrying Case with Premium Kaizen Pick and Pluck Foam - Ultimate Protection for Electronics, Tools, Cameras, and Equipment (17 x 12 x 3 In.) by Robert Prix

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good case although homemade may be required.

I'm glad I have this, the case is very strong. I used it to host my 3D printed chess set (over a week of work so I want to take care of that). I have no doubt that this will protect the details. Durability seems good, the body is fairly thick plastic and the clasps feel well made. I've seen nothing but extreme abuse ruin this case. Weight wise I wasn't complaining, it's heavy enough to feel the weight and almost convince you of the case's protection. But not too heavy that you can leave it at home to lug around. Overall I'm very happy with it, the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Will there be sections a year ahead and foam, the sections are too big for my use (chess pieces as above), I had to fit 32 pieces, and the 3/4" break spaces only allow me 3 rows of 8. Maximum where only 1 rest is left between each piece. So I cut out the top of the foam where I put the rest of the pieces to close the box so the pieces lay flat on the bottom foam base.Another problem is that this one Foam is not attached to the body in any way, after maximum stretching the foam wants to rise up from the body Which I attached with glue but it shouldn't have been needed.
