I have burned 2 universal impulse sealers. Impulse sealers take longer to seal and wait. I will never go back to impulse sealers. This seal works in 1 second. That's incredible. If you use it to seal plastic bags, here's my advice. When I first used it, I set it too high as I am used to with other sealers. The high setting melted the plastic and I had to use the tip of the scissors to scrape it out of the grooves. I turned it off and then came back to finish the work. I admit, at first I was disappointed that plastic melts at high temperatures. However, to my surprise, the plastic did not melt after a second try by heating at low temperature for only 5 minutes. plastic off. It was a dream! And I only had to press 1 second. Holding the low setting for too long will melt the plastic around the edges. I prefer to trim the edge. It's less toxic and keeps your car clean by preventing it from getting too hot and melting the plastic. I will try to seal thicker metal coffee bags. I'm so impressed with this car. It seems so reliable, strong and I don't think I can burn it. It also significantly reduced my FBA packing time.
