This is a beautiful cashmere hat with a simple design. It is so light that it almost seems weightless, but at the same time very warm and cozy. Cashmere in a very fine knit with fine ribbing on the four curved panels that make up the hat. The edge is carefully finished and rolled. The hat has good elasticity and fits me very well - it's just a little tight; enough to keep it in place, but I almost don't even know it's there. It's quite stretchy so I think it will fit most women. It's long enough to close my ears and keep them nice and warm. The hat is long enough to hang a bit. I ordered the plum color which is just beautiful; It is a deep, rich and intense color. The hat is very soft and comfortable. Labels and a sewn-in label indicate that it is 100% cashmere. It is recommended to hand wash with a wool detergent and then shape and dry the fat (I think they mean flat, ha ha!). The current price of $39 seems high, but it's very beautiful, comfortable and warm + with a little care this hat will last for years. I wish it came in a nice gift box.
