I have read reviews that say this ring is difficult to close. That's true, but only if you try it with your fingers. Anyone used to or familiar with stainless steel rings knows that some types require tools like spacers to close. I first ordered a 14g-10mm ring and it was too big for my liking. I needed poles to "snap" the ring. The second time I ordered a 14g-8mm ring. I was much happier with how small it was BUT it was so small that it needed two pairs of posts, one to hold the ring and one to hold the tight piece and lock it in place. In general, I am completely satisfied with this decoration. small, simple and safe.
