My old charger stopped working so I bought this one. It's a lot shorter than the original, probably about half the length. Just measured, just over 5.5 feet long, maybe 6 feet if you factor in the size of the brick. But it worked every time I used it. It clicks a little when I put it in the computer so I know it's in. I have an Acer Chromebook, the bottom of the computer says Model #N15Q8Edit 04/10/19. This charger still works well. As another reviewer noted, I actually like that the surge protector is on the outlet and not in the middle of the cord like most laptop cords do. That means there isn't a single rock on the cable when I throw it on couches and such. Also, the much shorter length compared to the standard isn't that much of an issue when the brick pulls it in if you want the cable to run mostly vertically. I just bought a second one because the cable can't be in two places at once and I don't like moving it around with my laptop. The new one works too.
