My trusty Braun coffee grinder died after about 15 years and I got it as a replacement. I'll look for something else. The grinder is so small that I have to grind 2 batches of beans for one cup of coffee. The design of the coffee grinder is such that the lid is placed on top of the base and not in it. That means coffee grounds are flying all over the place every time you open the lid. It's absolutely impossible to use this coffee grinder without making a big mess. The sanding dust also gets caught in the junction between the top and bottom and again creates a huge mess. The only positive is that it's very quiet, but I would have preferred a noisy device that worked well.
