Review on ๐ŸŽง Black Audio-Technica ATH-M50x Headphones by Micha Mitrut แ Œ

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good product, good quality, not bad.

Because the ATH-M50 are monitor headphones, sound is both a plus and a minus. For the average user, this is their biggest drawback. whether using a mat to embed or when listening on a phone. The sound coming from the board is not badโ€”in fact, it's rather goodโ€”and it has good clarity, stage breadth, and bass, but! Your impressions are shattered as soon as you connect the headphones to any high-quality audio card, emphasis on "as a Human." The headphones' primary flaw is really their very analytical sound, which has boosted highs and bass and is ideal for editing and dealing with audio but, however, is not particularly comfortable for listening to music. Naturally, EQ can be used to equalize the situation, but this is not the same as simply using headphones with a flat frequency response. Convenience is next. They put a lot of pressure on the head during the initial fitting and continue to do so for about a week. Additionally, they remain heavy for the duration of their service life, which is not very convenient but tolerable. I personally play them for 8 hours straight, but trust me when I say that my neck is not appreciative. Despite the headphones not breaking, cracking, creaking, etc., reliability is rated at 4, not 5, and this is due to their standard, entire ear pads (cushions). In fact, without further ado, I strongly advise that, as soon as signs of deterioration occur, EVERYONE replace them with something comparable to the Brainwavz HM-5. You'll get a million thanks from your ears! There are no issues with the build quality, as was already observed; the headphones have a solid feel. Due to the fact that these headphones are closed-back, sound isolation is also good. Additional drawbacks include the cable's strong microphone effect, its hefty and thick construction, and the attachment method, which, in my opinion, is completely unnecessary. In general, the headphones are good, but not for casual listeners; they need some polishing, and much more so, they are not for 12022; with new ear pads, they would be even more costly. better consider different headphones.

Pros
  • the existence of three different cables and a 6.3mm adapter, as well as the sound and build quality.
Cons
  • Sound, cable quality, the method used to secure the cord to the headphones, and cost (for 2022).
