Review on 🌸 Avarelle Pimple Patches (40 Count): Hydrocolloid Acne Spot Treatment with Tea Tree Oil, Calendula Oil, and Cica by April Scott

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Tested and proven to work on a disgustingly painful upper lip pimple

I've always read these articles in Revain's Top Reviews section and that's where I saw them. I've struggled with cystic acne since I was a teenager, and once I got my cystic acne under control, hormonal acne started to appear in adults. In fact, my acne turns 18 this month, so happy birthday (sigh). So I have a whole range of cleansers/moisturizers/masks to even out my skin tone, but I'm always trying new products for those pesky pimples that you feel under your skin and just know they're going to be gross. I use Mario Badescu's dry and buffer lotions and they work well, but they have a very high alcohol content, which I don't like because it's not the best for my skin over time. These patches contain milder products like tea tree and calendula, so I decided to give them a try. The first night I put patches on a few problem areas but I didn't really have any breakouts. I didn't see much of a difference and decided I had to wait until I felt a bad pimple forming. I didn't have to wait long because that day I felt one just above my upper lip (OH). It continued to grow throughout the day causing part of my lip to swell and become more and more painful. So that evening I took one of the small round plasters and put it on the pimple. I confess I didn't have high hopes but when I woke up the next morning there was still a small bump but not nearly as bad as the day before and best of all I wasn't in pain! As the day progressed, the pimple began to wrinkle and flake off, and that was it. So now I'm a true believer!
