Review on ๐Ÿถ Iams Healthy Weight Adult Dry Dog Food with Chicken by Irena Williams

Picky overweight dog ate it!

Our vet told us (Pepper, my dog and I) Pepper needs to lose about 10 pounds not counting her fur (she was rescued and was so matted she had to be shaved). And, of course, after shaving, it turned out that she was overweight (the previous owner, the second, was careless and used gravity feed). It was the only thing I could afford. I've only had it for about ten days so I don't see any difference yet. But she eats it! However, I found that my then skinny dog with chicken allergy ate the then fatty dog food. Now they are opposite. My then fat dog is now a healthy weight, my then healthy dog, fed twice a day, is obese. Since she is allergic to everything that has to do with chicken, I had to switch to a different food, also without chicken meal. I still endorse this food, especially for dogs that need to lose weight. But if your dog is allergic to chicken, look for another brand. If your dog eats his paws no matter what you try, it could be a chicken allergy.
