When the Covid closure bans were lifted I had to do something unquestionable to show I was open again. I've seen many LED signs in the windows of pizzerias, smokehouses and other fast food outlets, but I didn't want that aesthetic for my business. I REALLY wanted the same drive via visual recognition. After some searching I realized that neon signs were no longer needed (at least if they were reasonably priced) and I found these. It looks a lot prettier than dot matrix style LED signs and is quite bright. I get a lot of new customers from local people who just showed up because they saw the sign and were wondering what we do. in the middle of the shield and not on the sides at the rear edge of the shield. I had to "flip" the cord along the sign to get it out the side of the window so there wasn't a dirty looking cord hanging down there. After I routed it to the wall, I used a wire rod form (another $30) to transfer it to the outlet, but the built-in halfway switch keeps that part from falling off, so the line has to be broken. Since the pull switch is about 18"-2 feet from the switch on the sign itself, I don't see why it's needed at all. It doesn't affect the performance or appearance of the sign in the window, but it does for whatever you use it cost, it is very difficult to deal with all these little things that are aesthetic flaws in the design, but for those who want to get a foothold in the quality of LED signs, I still wholeheartedly recommend this device.
