Review on Pack of 3 Japanese Tawashi Brushes for Efficient Fruit & Vegetable Cleaning and Household Purposes by Daniel Bates

Compared to regular sponges, they feel like they'll last forever

We typically use blue Scotch-Brite sponges which we buy in bulk from Costco. We rarely use the dishwasher so the sponges wear out. They usually start falling apart after about two weeks. You can only imagine how pleased I am that we have had these scrubbers for almost two months now and are still using them without any notable signs of wear. At this rate I expect 6 months from a sponge. Although they're more expensive than what they replaced, they last a lot longer than they did, to the point where we're probably saving money with them. My only complaint is that I can't get the bottom of some of our glasses with this as they really don't flex very much. If I could find a slightly smaller brush that would be phenomenal and perfect. I know they sell body versions of these sponges (I have to assume with much softer bristles). I love this style so much that I am going to try it. To update. I just threw away my first one after over six months of multiple daily use. Not only is it solid performance, but it's excellent value for money. I don't think I will ever buy anything else. Pictured is an old brush (below) next to a brand new one.
