This is a good substitute for drilling holes in walls/ceiling. . One small point that may concern some people: if the alarm is in the direct path of the chilled AC air, consider moving it, or if that's not possible, press once or twice a day to move restore the connection. Mine fell from the ceiling once before trying this solution. In other rooms where there is no air conditioning, I have not encountered this problem at all. Finally, they had better pack them to separate the drives. I had a hard time separating them because I had to use a letter opener. As I said above, the magnets work great.
