I've been walking around in the snow in these, with NO socks on, and my feet are still very warm and dry.These SILENTCARE boots are very comfortable to walk in.There is a zipper on the inside but there is a membrane inside of the zipper so that water can't get in.I find them to be quite grippy in the snow and on the shoveled sidewalks.The boots fit as expected--I ordered my normal size (11) and they fit just right.They are easy to get in and out of.The first time I took them out there was no snow or anything and they were still very comfortable. The only thing I noticed the first time was that I could feel the top of the boots on my legs. But they weren't digging in or anything and within a few minutes of walking that first day, they were fine. In fact, I remember thinking to myself on the way home, wow--I haven't noticed these boots at all. Not bad for brand new shoes/boots.Highly Recommended!
