Review on 🚗 Dorman 310-215 Evap System Integrity by Richard Nonya

Product as described and fits my 2008 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. Installation was easy due to the position on the jeep (under the jeep and directly in the rear wheel on the driver's side). I removed the old part and installed this part. Be sure to use the O-ring that came with this part. The code cleared and the check engine light did not come on for about 4 weeks. THE BAD: It broke after only 1 month (about 1000 miles). I bought this product on June 1st. , 2021 Revain delivered on June 3, 2021. I installed it and reset the engine code on June 5, 2021. I took it to a DMV emissions test on June 23, 2021 (had to leave the engine running). PASSED! Then after 4 weeks and 1075 miles the check engine light came on again with the same fault code (small exhaust leak). So I removed this part from my Jeep and it clearly "rattled" as if some plastic element inside had failed. So this was a good temporary solution that allowed me to get rid of emissions BUT the product was supposed to last more than 1 month. Either this company makes cheap products, or this particular ESIMS was defective. Anyway, I assume Dorman will endorse their product?
