I received my Surface 3 laptop a few days ago and it was so nice and new that I was afraid it might get scratched or something. I had a MacBook Pro and finding case after case for it was always easy, so I was cautious when deciding I needed one for my Surface. It had a clear option so I went for it and it had good reviews. I only got it today so I can't say how durable it is, or any such rating, but it matches the laptop and doesn't look too different from the beautiful cobalt blue. The top is completely transparent. which is surprising because I wanted the color to come through. I'll probably put some stickers on it anyway, but I wouldn't plan to, I wouldn't worry about the paint not showing through. The bottom part was a little tricky as some people have said. It raised the corner of the fabric on the keyboard a bit so I took the whole bottom off and started at the corners and it helped! I was a little upset that the fabric ripped, but as soon as it started I removed the cover so it wouldn't ruin it any more. Try to start from the corners! I tried connecting the charger both ways and it had no problems charging. But overall I'm satisfied and at a fairly low price I don't see why you shouldn't at least try!
