Luckily, assembly is extremely easy. Even if you are not a builder, assembling this device will take you no more than 30 minutes. All parts are properly labeled and instructions are clearly expressed both in words and in pictures. When everything is put together, it looks very beautiful from the side of the room. I'm a big fan of natural wood furniture. Love solid wood, bamboo, etc. This product is made of faux wood, not solid wood. This means that a thin layer of wood is applied to the plywood. In principle, everything is fine and to be honest, the design of this imitation wood device looks more real than many others in this price range. The top and bottom are pleasant to the touch. But there isn't enough wood on the crates. It's very thin and doesn't feel tight when tapped. If your kids are picky about furniture, the linings of the drawers wear out easily. Also, I don't like using cardboard for the sides and bottom of the boxes. It smells like cardboard and isn't as durable as the plastic used in the same application. The frame is solid, but the overall feel of the device doesn't match the solidity of natural wood or even well-crafted MDF. An excellent rating for such a budget piece would be 4 stars. Due to the shortcomings listed above, 3 stars seems fair. I like this work, but I'm not overwhelmed.
