Overall the tables are great although each had some flaws that I chose to live with. They are heavy and feel solid. The box is good, the surface is smooth. The tables were well packed and boxed but one has a broken edge and both have a section under the front edge that looks a bit rough but you need to know how to find it. If they went to a room other than my guest room (I also had a guest) then I could trade one or both. In this case I needed them, I liked them and I decided to keep them. At some point I may grieve and then smooth out imperfections to make them appear wanted and/or invisible. Although they are very cute and I still like them. **Please note that the legs are packed in a shipping carton. Tables can be used without them.
