Review on Polk Audio 265-RT: Vanishing Series In-Wall Speaker with Power Port – High-Performance Audio for Front, Rear, or Surround Use – Easily Install in Ceiling or Wall – Paintable Grille, Black by Matthew Perez

I've probably spent too many hours looking for speakers for my new home theater, but I knew I needed in-wall or ceiling speakers. Uses 265s for the front (left, right and center) channels and the sound is amazing. Not tinny at all as others have said and the subwoofer produces decent bass. Very happy with the sound and quality of the product and the templates provided make it impossible to cut holes wrong. The Vanishing Series is a great title because you won't even realize they're there. I think most people who weren't happy with the sound didn't put shields or boxes behind them to contain the sound and prevent it from "leaking" into the wall cavity. These speakers are deep, filling a standard 2 x 4 deep wall, so plan carefully and carefully and you won't be disappointed.
