Recently, in soldered / re-soldered ATH-ES7, the cable finally died, and I decided that I needed to change them in the end. As a result, I bought an ATH-MSR7b at a discount. And. these are just great headphones! The sound is very deep and clear, it is even surprising how airy it is for closed headphones. True, the emphasis is still shifted upwards and in some compositions and styles there is a lack of bass, but I even like it. The middle is not littered and not protruding, does not have any obvious color. Acoustic guitar, piano, cello sound just divine. When listening to chamber and classical music, it seems that the musicians are playing around you, all the instruments are different, the depth of the sound stage is really felt. Some black or power metal sounds very powerful and driving. By the way, not only lossless sounds great in headphones, but also music from Spotify (320 kbps). I will not write more about formats, sound sources, balance, etc. You already know everything. About soundproofing and ergonomics. Noise isolation is wonderful, the headphones completely isolate you from others, and them from you and what is playing there. They sit very comfortably, the ears do not get tired and do not hurt in them, the headphones do not put pressure on the head, but at the same time they perfectly soundproof. You can sit in them for hours and just enjoy the sound. :) In general, I recommend!
