If you fill the tank halfway, don't turn the hose too high, they fill well. As the balloons fill up and start falling, you must "cut" the lines to the other balloons that fell to "force" the water to fill the remaining ones. In the end everything is filled out nicely. What I found odd was that no matter how hard, where, how close or how far you threw these balloons at someone, they didn't break until they hit the grass. This is so strange! I even tested it on my husband after my little son got upset. So my general opinion is that while they're easier to fill, I wouldn't buy them again because all the fun is that the balloons pop when they hit someone, and they don't.
