This is by far the ideal phone mount for a Jeep. Doesn't block any part of the windshield or dashboard. Does not interfere or block radio/heating/window controls. Because it's attached to the handrail hardware, you don't have to worry about instability or the suction cup/adhesive coming off. The installation took me 5 minutes. I only needed the small ratchet that came with the jeep because it has a special star/hex mount and then a regular 5/16 ratchet (I think). The holder stood perfectly and everything is well fastened. I have tried several phone holders for my Jeep and these are second to none. And it's very stable on the road. Since it also serves as a drink holder, there is plenty of space at the back for sockets or the like. And if you need to take it out, it pulls out very easily and still stays perfectly in place. The charging port is still accessible, and because it's right above the outlet, the cord doesn't get tangled in my switch like other phone holders I've tried. 10/10, definitely recommended.
