This is my daughter's first year in dance class so I didn't want to spend a lot of money on expensive dance shoes that she would outgrow in a year anyway. They are easy to put on. She says she likes to wear them to dance, but she's never owned dance shoes, so she has no comparison either. But then again, for the $3 we paid for it, they are great for their classes.
