It holds the cards securely but I can easily pull them out. So that's the best part. The material feels a bit cheap (mine is navy blue) but it's not terrible and I guess that's to be expected for the price. The gold key fob has a small piece of fabric on one end that must have been glued to the inside of the coin pouch to keep the key fob attached to the wallet; Fall off on first day of use. Since the zipper has a hole, I did without the key ring instead. The zipper opens under the weight of the keys, so now I can't use the coin pocket. But it works well for me as I basically wanted the wallet to hold the ID I carry at work along with my office key. There are side pockets on the front and back (on the back where the cards are kept) where I stashed some cash and business cards. Overall it's not as pretty as I was hoping, but it's quite functional and looks okay.
