I got these size 4 boots for my growing 8 year old who has outgrown his size 3.5 shoes. They fit great! He liked the look of them and said they were very comfortable. He's gotten to the point where he likes to choose his own clothes, so I'm glad he likes them. There were no stitching issues or any issues with the inside of the shoe. These are wide laces that actually stay tied, not tight, slick laces if you tie your laces all day. It seems to be a very versatile shoe. Good for school or church. In general we are very happy with them.
