Don't be fooled by comparing the lower price of this stove to more expensive EmberLit and CampMate stoves, this Lixada wood burner is just as good, if not better, for the price. Comes in a nice black carrying case that easily fits matches or a lighter. The protective layer on stainless steel parts can be removed very easily; absolutely no traces of the removed adhesive remained anywhere. The first thing that struck me was how heavy this oven is when folded. I was shocked to realize the true weight of this stove, especially when it looks so light in the photos. Put together, this thing is a brick. The strength of this stove justifies the extra weight. It would probably be possible to sit on it and still not collapse under pressure. Air holes on the sides and bottom of the pan create a fire that burns surprisingly fast and hot. I was able to boil 500ml of water in less than 4 minutes. It's insanely fast! The crossbar at the top where the pot sits can hold anything from a single mug to a cast iron skillet. This stove is great for hiking but being heavier I wouldn't recommend it to anyone trying to go ultra light. But I would recommend this to anyone who is camping and doesn't want to constantly buy the fool as it's free in the woods. I only took off a star because of the weight, but it's still better than spending over $70 on a titanium plate of the same design.
