Updated review, 1 year later - finally found ONE.

UPDATED (09/06/20) It's been almost a year and my cat still loves these Weruva Oh My Gravy products. Over time, I've vacillated between banks and packages for a variety of reasons. I noticed that the packs definitely have more sauce and smaller cuts of meat than the same product but in a jar. All in all, it doesn't seem to mean much; she eats it anyway. There are definitely a few flavors she won't touch (and 2-3 she's crazy about), but there's such a wide range of flavors that I can still switch them up and get going. she is satisfied every day. When giving your cat supplements (liquid or powder), plenty of sauce and smaller pieces of meat make it easier to mix/hide/dissolve. A win! ORIGINAL REVIEW (10/7/19) *fingers crossed* I may have finally found wet food for my cats! You have no idea how far I've come since I switched from dry food to wet food. Let me tell you it wasn't easy. We first eliminated all foods that didn't contain grain or carrageenan, as well as some other foods that my cat shouldn't be eating. (Yes, I'm one of those cat moms.) Then there was the oh, pathetic quest for the texture she likes in her food. She doesn't make patties, which eliminated most wet food options immediately. But there's stew and chunks and chop and a billion other options. One thing I discovered pretty quickly is SHE LOVES SAUCE. Up to that annoying moment where she just licks all the sauce off the food, leaving only strands or chunks of meat. It's like having a kid who only eats Lucy Charms marshmallows. So annoying! I was beginning to worry about my cat's nutritional profile. Another issue we had was that after a few days or weeks of eating the same brand of wet food she just got bored and just stopped eating it? At first I thought it was the lack of flavor or variety selection, but I soon realized that wasn't the problem. I've tried everything from Tiki Cat to Taste of the Wild to Merrick and Purina and back again. I even tried the raw food. I'm not kidding, I was desperate. Nothing stuck. Do you know when they tell you to slowly transition your cat to a new food? My method for a while was just dazzling them with different brands and flavors to get them to eat their food. She loves this business. She devours it in minutes and meows for more. That's the consistency she'll actually eat meat with gravy at! She likes variety and I'll find out which flavors she prefers. I also surprisingly love pouches. I was a bit hesitant at first, but now I prefer them a lot more than glasses! I also love that I can add water to the food when she's a little dehydrated and it actually blends into the sauce and adds more sauce to her food than if the water just pools around the sauce and/or thins it out . to the point where my cats just wrinkle their noses. Another thing I surprisingly love is the 3 ounce servings. During this search, I noticed that she didn't like cold food that was kept in the fridge (when I bought 5.5 ounce cans and half fed them), and she didn't like it when I left it in the fridge for a few seconds heated microwave ovens. (She also couldn't eat a full 5-ounce serving in one sitting, so she was kicked out and wasted.) Speaking of the picky cat. Now I pay a little more for smaller 3 ounce portions but I get a cat that actually eats her food instead of wasting it. I think it will save me more in the long run. I pray this sticks and she doesn't get bored after a few weeks with the same food. The time will show. But so far I'm thrilled!
