Review on LG 29WK600 W 29 inch UltraWide Monitor, 2560X1080P, Adjustable, ‎29WK600-W by Joe Hart

I bought the predecessor of this monitor 2 years ago and was so excited that adding a second external monitor to the first was the obvious choice for me. The setup was successful and after a few reboots everything worked with a little surprise. Lesson Learned: My Lenovo laptop has 1 HDMI and 1 Mini DisplayPort. A quick search showed me that to run 2 external monitors I would need to use both of these ports and not one of the USB ports. I first tried a MiniDisplayPort to HDMI cable but it didn't support the full resolution of the monitor so I bought a straight MiniDisplayPort to DisplayPort cable and everything worked fine. The stand that came with this monitor is now metal - an upgrade from the plastic stand that came with the previous model 2 years ago. Everything looks high quality and well thought out.
