I used the whole bottle and compared it to two other self tanners. This one is the best so far. My routine consists of a shower, a full body scrub and a shave. Towel dry and apply self-tanner. I use a generous amount, but just enough for it to absorb in less than a minute most of the time. I put it everywhere and don't put it on my knees or elbows. I apply it vertically and then rub it horizontally around all the limbs. Then the upper body slightly slightly on my neck. Apply a regular facial moisturizer, do not wash your hands, then apply a light body moisturizer and rub gently in semi-circular motions. Now I wash my hands with a thick cloth. Since this is a bronzer you get an idea of what it will look like so pay attention. Then I dry it with a blow dryer on a cool setting. I still give him 5-10 minutes before I get dressed or sit down. That's great! I don't get any streaks, it doesn't get darker on my elbows or ankles. The color is excellent. I paid for mystic tan two summers ago and I love the results from it (a lot of work but worth it!). I find 365 blackouts on my ankles and knees. Wonderfully striped.
