Well assembled fan, works great.

Overall the fan looks well built. The installation wasn't very difficult since you only need two hands to hang the ceiling fan on the stairs. It should be noted that the fan blades themselves are made of plastic, probably for safety and cost reasons. The fan works almost silently, but drives the air very well. I wish you could change the direction of rotation with the remote control, but you can't. There is a switch for this on the top of the fan housing. I have high ceilings so it's a little awkward to switch depending on the time of year. The rest of the remote works great and I'm very happy with the fan. I installed it indoors but it is designed for outdoor use.
