I've tried many of these for most of my career in the office. They never have support where I need it and they are never tight enough. First I bought a wonderful leather Serta chair from Sam. Either it doesn't have an adjustment to raise the back or I haven't figured it out but my back didn't rest on it directly. I figured I would still need lumbar support and I love it. Why? Because it has a really soft, washable cover over hard memory foam. It's perfectly angled to support my lower back or when I lift it up it feels great on my upper back and helps with my posture! I feel like I can sit in my new chair all day long with this backrest! Luckily I work for myself now. So who needs a break anyway? Yes, I'm a workaholic! It is firmly attached to the chair with straps and can be adjusted. Good buy! I'll definitely update if that changes.
