So today I put my new levers on after I dropped my beautiful SV650 on its side at a gas station and clicked the brake lever like an idiot. I originally wanted to buy the CRG RC2 levers because they are praised for how precisely machined and engineered they are and how they improve control of your bike. However, at nearly $200 a pair, I decided to do more research. I found them with good reviews and pulled the trigger. However, at $35 a pair, I was skeptical. I even kept everything ready in anticipation that after trying them I might have to return them. But at first glance I was impressed by how well everything was finished and equipped. When I took them out of the box, I made sure the 8mm snap nuts where the Delrin mount connected to the aluminum lever were tight and had very little play. Then I screwed them on and took my bike for a test ride. I was surprised by the difference they made and would definitely rate them as a significant increase in overall performance. The mechanical feel and handling of the brake and clutch was much more direct and consistent. They feel great and I'm so impressed I would definitely recommend them as an inexpensive and valuable upgrade for anyone with a multi-mile sport bike.
