Review on 🦷 White Edition Oral-B Pro 5000 Smartseries Power Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush with Bluetooth Connectivity by Rebecca Guerra

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I followed my dental hygienist's advice :-)

Best toothbrush I've ever owned :- ) say I didn't buy this from Revain :-( I bought it directly from my dental office. Still, I'm very glad I made the purchase! :-) This is the first time I've - or had a 'smart toothbrush' and now it's 3 months and I'm very impressed. I've had battery powered toothbrushes before, but they really don't compare to this thing! I love the weight in my hand and the vibration technology she uses in conjunction with the multiple heads at her disposal. I'll admit it took me a few days to get used to the "feel" it produces (and I definitely see some people with very sensitive teeth/gums disliking it), but now after a few weeks , I feel good. Strange as it sounds, teeth actually seem cleaner after brushing :-) The whole Bluetooth feature - seemed a bit useless and even annoying at first - seriously, now I have to take my phone into the bathroom with me? But honestly it doesn't matter and I love how long it tracks my cleaning, gives me goals to achieve, tracks when I brush during the day, and even sets up cleaning routines to follow such as: B. fresh breath, tartar control, whitening and so on. . And as you can see in my screenshot, you can even watch a simple animation to follow brushing ALL your teeth more evenly. I also get info at the bottom of the screen when I brush my teeth, so I can check the news, the weather, and even my sports scores. This particular model also has a high visibility racing stripe that lights up when you apply a lot of pressure (my dentist told me this is my biggest problem). When I bought mine I received a total of 6 earbuds, a charging dock and a travel case. The app is free and once you download it, it syncs with your toothbrush pretty quickly as soon as you take it off the stand. I also love how it tracks my habits/activities so I can go back and see if my progress is improving or not, if I'm cleaning too hard, if I need to speed up my game at night, etc. And the battery lasts for one long time, a long time - I lived up to 10 days before deciding to plug it back in - and even after 10 days, one of the three bars was still on, showing a 25%-40% charge. Yes, it was definitely money well spent and as long as the product lasts I suspect my teeth will benefit enormously from this versatile powerhouse :-)

Pros
  • To maintain maximum battery capacity, unplug charger and completely drain pen at least once every 6 months with regular use
Cons
  • No power
