They're a little smaller than I expected, but they're cute and fun. The instructions are a bit cumbersome, but understandable. It took several tries to learn how to turn them upside down; Turns out you have to get them to start by turning them counterclockwise a bit. The smaller bugs charge further forward than I expected, maybe 10 feet, fairly quickly, from a slight retreat. I bought these for my 18 month old daughter and I'm sure she will love them. The smaller ones will likely fit in their mouths, so we'll have to keep an eye on that. All in all I am positively surprised and very satisfied with my purchase.
