WOW! That's all I can say. I first bought a pair of Polk MC80 speakers to use as surround back speakers, but I wasn't happy with the sound. They sounded dull and somehow tinny. So since I have all of the speakercraft in the walls for my LCR, the standard replacement brand was Polk's speakercraft. I looked at the Aim8 first but at $250 each I decided to give the Aim7 a try since they were selling for $99 each. These speakers sound fantastic! They have incredible bass from an in-ceiling speaker. I will definitely recommend them to my friends among other wall/ceiling speakers. A friend of mine just built a house next door to us and installed all of the Polk audio systems in his entire home audio system. As soon as he heard about the quality of my system, he now wants to tear his out and replace it with Speakercraft.
