This is probably the easiest and best thing I've ever mounted on a motorcycle. I have a 2018 Honda Rebel 500. Installation was very easy, apart from trying to figure out how to hide the wiring. The programming was less complicated than I thought. He had memorized every transmission before I left our area. It's a bit bright and will probably be a nuisance at night, but I don't drive at night so it's not a problem. I know when I first looked at this I looked everywhere for instructions before buying. I have found nothing. So I leave something behind. This product should work with 2017 and 2018 Honda Rebels. It's the same bike, just released in different colors. This product connects to the data port. It's a red plug just under your seat. It has a cap. Be careful not to break it when removing. Then all you have to do is tie it together and make sure you don't pinch anything, which shouldn't be with the zip ties provided (I only used my own, longer ones). Then program it by driving it on a track. It's literal. The fastest and easiest installation and it's so convenient. Not only am I a beginner, I am also new to manual transmission cars. I easily forget what gear I'm in while driving. For me it's great.
