These lanterns are very poorly made - you get what you pay for. Overall brightness is decent, but those are just the perks. There is an adjustable base ring which should allow the user to position the light inside the case and guide the LEDs. The ring came off immediately and the bulb could not be repaired. A tiny, almost microscopic adjustment screw should hold the adjustment ring securely in place, but it's a tiny, smaller screw that snaps into a minimal notch in the plastic housing. Very cheaply made, there would be no way to attach it to the flashlight body unless you cement or glue the adjustment ring to the base of the flashlight. Spend another $10-15 on better lighting and save yourself a headache. I returned this set and received a prompt refund.
