It keeps the iPad upright

I love flip cases because I can use my iPad in both portrait and landscape orientation. The problem with my other cases is that the iPad never stood up straight. I leaned too far back and often fell flat. I can type, facetime, and play games without them. I also have fabric and paint (mine is green). Definitely recommend.
