This is a great kit with all the parts you need for a reliable serial port connection in DIY projects. I've done several projects to convert serial ports to Wi-Fi and these connectors are great. The kit contains several items: 1. Screwdriver for clamps2. Cable clamps with screws to prevent cable pull out.3. 3 different sizes of wire sleeve for each item4. Long thumbscrews to attach DB9 connector Details are well made. They are larger than your average serial connector to accommodate the terminal screws. My only minor complaint is that the pins are numbered instead of labeled. Observe the connection instructions in the product description. I recommend printing it out and keeping it with the DB9 connectors.
