Review on LocknLock Purely Storage Container Rectangle 14 by Sharon Hartmann

I have received two glass jars from this brand including this one and both were delivered and packaged very well. No broken or scratched glass. This is definitely a small container that will come in handy for storing dressing or sauce. As with the other jar I received, I believe the plastic top lid is of poor quality and does not match the quality of the glass on the jar itself. I've stored pesto in it so far and luckily the plastic didn't get dirty as I was concerned this might happen due to the poor quality appearance of the plastic. The instructions say the lid is not microwaveable, but I see the manufacturer has answered some questions that it can actually be used in the microwave, so I'm not sure if that's true. I probably won't risk it.
