UPDATE: April 2021 BE CAREFUL WHEN ORDERING THIS SET OF FOUR FROM AMAZON: I just ordered a set of FOUR Turquoise 40s/2's from Revain in 6000 yard cones but got ONE small cone maybe at 2000 yards (see photo ).it's not even marked as usual Mandala Crafts. This is just a regular sticker and does not look like a product that Mandala Crafts sells on their own website. Original review (still current): I have been sewing for over 35 years and mostly on Husqvarna Viking machines. Over the years I have tried many different brands of yarn. Despite what some might think is "wrong," threads generally cause lint in sewing machines! Fabrics, especially natural fibers like cotton and wool, can contribute to minimal linting in a sewing machine, but thread is the main culprit as it sits both on top of the machine and on the spool, constantly moving around the machine, and static builds up electricity , causing the lint to stick to the inside and outside of the machine. I recently purchased a set of four Mandala Serger Coral and Navy Cone threads and am really impressed with the quality. I would even consider using this thread as regular sewing machine thread with my external cone stand. The thread stitches are of pretty good quality compared to some of my other brands of overlock thread such as MaxiLock and a few no name brands I have used that work great on a 4 cone overlock machine but I wouldn't use them for sewing use with a thread. One thing I want to mention about the mandala coral thread: get ready, on the taper it's a bit closer to orange than pink-orange coral. When tailoring, however, the color should be closer to coral and blend well. I have included two photos of each color: Coral #107 and Navy Blue #319. Photo left without flash.
