I was very surprised how durable Vacwel vacuum storage bags are. They are made of good, thick plastic that should hold up to normal use. I put 5 comforters and 4 pillows in one of the large 32" x 43" bags. There was still enough space to close the bag. An easy to use clip is included provided you simply slide along the zip end to secure it firmly. seal the package. Then simply unscrew the lid and use the vacuum hose to suck all the air out of the bag. It's nice to see the bag getting smaller and smaller as the vacuum sucks all the air out. You can see in the photos that it takes up a lot less space now. I inflated the bag yesterday and today it still seals well and no air leaks out. I plan to use these backpacks when we go camping this summer so we can pack everything we need in our car when we travel.
