Mug overall is great. I won't comment too much as all parts that should work work fine. The strainer is good, everything is easy to use/clean etc. The insulation is not as good as I would like. If I pour boiling water straight into the thermos and then close the lid tightly, it cools down to room temperature in about 8 hours (which means it's not even hot for 3 hours, just warm). The vacuum flask has a relatively poor suction capacity because there is a rubber ring in the lid that is loosely attached there. As the air cools, it contracts, which pulls the rubber ring in the cap, sometimes making it difficult to unwind. There were times I had to forcefully pull to remove the cover. If you use force to turn it, the air intake will pull that rubber ring out. I just put it back in, it doesn't seem like a big deal but it's a bit annoying. Also, after a few months of use, a metal plate glued to the underside of the lid fell off. This exposed the adhesive, rendering it unusable. The sellers are very accommodating and will refund, so I'll give the benefit of the doubt and assume I've just received one of the bad few.
