I ordered this table and chair for my two children (ages 5 and 7). We received the table and chairs a few days ago so I can't comment on how durable they are. At first glance, however, they appear to be quite complex and well designed. It takes some assembly to put the table and chairs together - I would say it took me at least two hours to finish assembling all 4 chairs plus the table. It's not a very difficult assembly process, but it does require some patience and perseverance as some of the pre-drilled holes in the chairs didn't line up as perfectly as I would have liked and it took me a few tries to fully assemble some of the chairs. built.
