Worn for several hikes during the good parts of the day. It was loaded with several pounds of gear, knives, flashlights, a water bladder and a camera. When properly adjusted, it moves very little and is very comfortable. I have a bad shoulder and regular camping gear wears my shoulder down for hours, but this backrest doesn't ride on your shoulder and put stress on your chest due to the design of the strap and also the elastic straps take the hit when you're jumping or jogging. My shoulder is twice as long as a regular backpack with regular straps. I was skeptical of the "no monkey on my back" claim, but it's true. Very little exercise and helped prevent the shoulder injury from getting worse during those long hikes. If I could give this one more than 5 stars I would.
